The Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative is organising its 13th workshop at the Sheraton Brussels Airport Hotel, Belgium, on 17th-18th March 2014.
 
With European Union regulations and in-region traceability initiatives there is a lot going on.  Day 1 will see a keynote address from the European Commission on forthcoming European Union legislation on conflict minerals, followed by a discussion of other government policy frameworks. There will also be an in-depth look at in-region traceability and certification programs.  Day 2 will focus on the practical aspects of conflict minerals reporting, compliance best practices and benchmarking success. There will also be an update on CFSI governance, requirements for membership and developments with the Conflict-Free Smelter Program.
